My career began in law enforcement, serving as a police constable and acting sergeant with Hampshire Constabulary. I trained as an investigator, worked on complex crime teams, and was twice commended for bravery. This foundation in investigation, decision-making under pressure, and public service led naturally into enforcement and compliance. Today, as an authorised High Court Enforcement Officer, I continue to operate at the intersection of law, risk, and business.

I have built, grown, and exited several businesses, from enforcement services to property ventures. This first-hand experience means I understand the realities of managing staff, clients, contracts, and cashflow — and the opportunities and risks that come with each stage of the business cycle. About Me
I founded Tough Business Advisory to support owners and directors when business becomes challenging. My background is unusual: I served as a police officer before qualifying in enforcement and risk, and I am currently one of only 48 High Court Enforcement Officers appointed by the Lord Chancellor in England and Wales. Alongside this, I’ve built and exited businesses, managed property portfolios, and advised leaders across multiple sectors.
This combination of legal authority, investigative experience, and practical commercial know-how means I understand both the pressures of running a business and the consequences of getting it wrong. My focus is always on protecting your position, reducing risk, and guiding you through uncertainty with confidence.
